Our new "Fuzzy" bareback pad is built with 3/8" wool blend felt and has our inner support core as well as 1/4" foam under the 2-3" thick sheepskin wool. This bareback pad is very stout, even without upgrading your felt. This fur is sewn onto the pad. It is not removable.

Full horse is best for animals 14 hands up to draft size. This will work on a beefy 13 hand pony but not if it's finer featured.
Petite is for small horse/large pony but fits up to draft size with the right cinch size. This size does not fit small ponies or minis.
Mini is for mini horses/animals on up to draft size with the proper cinch. If you ask for billets for the mini size you will get a single 1.5" billet on each side of the pad to use a western cinch with. This eliminates the need to provide your own latigo straps as you would need to do if you select western D rigging.
